viva%20la%20cure.jpgIn honor of Breast Cancer Awareness this October, Sak’s Fifth Avenue is dedicating October 18-21 to the cause by offering a special shopping experience; Sak’s stores will donate 1% of in-store sales and 2% of online sales towards breast cancer research organizations, and the ‘Viva La Cure’ t-shirt is already available for purchase. The t-shirt is designed by Juicy Couture, a comfortable long-sleeve cotton tee, and 100% of the profits will also be donated to various programs.

The Viva La Cure t-shirt can be ordered online for just $35, and you’ll be joining the likes of Renee Zellweger (2007 Ambassador for the EIF’s Women Cancer Research Fund) as you sport the red and white long-sleeve tee:

If the budget allows for an even bigger investment this shopping season, Sak’s Fifth Avenue has partnered up with Mercedes Benz to offer a special edition 2008 C350 Sport Sedan:

This one’s equipped with luxury amenities including 18″ AMG aluminum alloy wheels, a multimedia package with HDD navigation, bluetooth connectivity, and yes, even an iPod kit to manage your latest music obsessions. Find out more about striking out with the sedan here.

All proceeds from sales during the allotted period are distributed to the Entertainment Industry Foundation Women’s Cancer Research Fund which helps with breast cancer research, promotion of grants and programs for those living with breast cancer, and improving detection and treatment options for women all around the globe.

The Key to the Cure campaign, sponsored by Sak’s Fifth Avenue, is one of the leading department store-supported programs, with donations of over $1 million going toward local and national women’s cancer organizations.
